Baruch Vainshelboim, PhD, ACSM-CEP

Baruch Vainshelboim, PhD, ACSM-CEP, is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, health scientist, and educator specializing in preventive and rehabilitative exercise therapy, longevity, and wellness. With more than 20 years of clinical experience, he has worked with individuals managing cardiovascular, metabolic, pulmonary, oncological, neurological, hematological, and musculoskeletal conditions.

Dr. Vainshelboim earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sport Science, Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, and PhD in Clinical Exercise Physiology. He completed postdoctoral research training at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System and Stanford University in California, followed by a cancer prevention fellowship at the National Cancer Institute in Maryland. His professional training also includes certifications in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, exercise oncology, corrective posture, preventive exercise, physical fitness, and health.

An active researcher and educator, Dr. Vainshelboim has authored and co-authored more than 65 peer-reviewed scientific publications. His work focuses on translating exercise physiology and preventive health research into practical, personalized strategies that help individuals improve physical function, optimize health, reduce disease risk, and maintain a high quality of life.

At Advanced Holistic Center, Dr. Vainshelboim offers a comprehensive Longevity and Wellness Program centered around physiological assessment, personalized exercise, nutrition and lifestyle planning, supervised exercise therapy, and ongoing evaluation. His goal is to help patients better understand their bodies and use measurable, evidence-based strategies to improve both lifespan and healthspan.
